Basic Bio: Joseph
Collins Wicht is an arranger, musical director and composer. Most recently, he served as MD and accompanist
for Carly Ozard in "Bewitched, Bothered and Bipolar" and "Somebody To Love: A Tribute to Freddie Mercury,"
and for Darlene Popovic in "How Lucky Can You Get: Darlene Popovic does Kander & Ebb," as well as for
Connie Champagne in "Encore: Judy," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Songs To Make You Gay"
and "Brand New Me: Connie Champagne Sings The Dusty Springfield Songbook" at the New Conservatory Theatre. Mr.
Wicht appeared in "Dirty Little Show Tunes!" at the New Conservatory Theatre Center in December, 2010 through January,
2011. He is now appearing in "Queer," the original opera by Erling Wold based on the book by William S. Burroughs
in May, 2011 as part of the SF International Arts Festival at Ft. Mason.
